Viva Cristo Rey was one of my favorite plays because of the people behind it and the role of Valentin Quintana will always be one I remember and love. This was one of those “I love that monologue” plays. Quintana must struggle with his sense of duty and doing what is right, what his heart feels and what his conscience allows him to do.
